Broke and unemployed since the fall of French Industries, William Akbar’s life derails even further when the Coyotes, a gang that used to terrorize Base City, reunite to steal the superpowered DP-11 suits and fill the power vacuum that French left behind. And even though Greaser and Infrared were actively antagonistic under French’s reign, Angel slowly starts developing feelings for Infrared—and whoever he is underneath the mask. With the fate of their city on the line, will Angel and Will’s secrets tear them apart or bring them closer than they ever imagined?

Thrill of the Chase is a contemporary LGBTQ+ romantic fantasy that features a modern world mixed with superhero suits and superpowers, a slow-burn two-person love triangle romance, coffee shop flirting, enemies to lovers, a transgender main character, found family vibes, tragic backstories, mild to moderate steaminess, major angst, and a happy ending for our protagonists (with a few plot threads left open for later books). Best enjoyed after Time on Our Side.
